HQ JFC Brunssum has a (Sqn Ldr) Padre who is based at Brunssum but visits all of the dependency areas and can always be contacted for advice and guidance.

WELFARE AND RECREATION

The UK Community Centre in Viborg is called Britannia House.  The aim of the Community Centre is to foster and encourage social and sporting activities within the UK Community and the wider International community for the benefit of the members, their families and friends. The facilities include a Bar/Party Room, Dining Room/Dance Area, colour TV with BFBS, DVD player, internet and a library. 

Every Friday the bar is open for business and there are several other functions held throughout the year.  Monthly subscriptions are paid by personnel to support these facilities, while the running costs of the centre are borne by public funds.

Although there are no official sports facilities provided as such, some activities are organised privately.  There are a couple of gyms in Viborg and a squash club, which all operate on a membership scheme and the NATO community have secured a substantial discount with one of the local gyms - details from your sponsor on arrival.  There is also a store of Bicycles and other outdoor equipment held at Britannia House available for use by the community upon request.  In Viborg town there is also a Ten-Pin Bowling Alley, Golf Course, large cinema and plenty of bars and restaurants.
