SPIRITUAL:

NAPLES   Christ Church, located in the centre of Naples, is an Anglican church within the Diocese of Gibraltar in Europe and is available to the British military community in Naples and throughout Italy.  Chaplain provides regular religious input to British Forces School and frequently visits JFC Naples.

WELFARE & RECREATION

A social worker is based in Naples but has remit to visit outstations as required.

Naples has an active HIVE which is located within a Community Centre with a swimming pool and bar.  The bar regularly shows televised football matches and is a regular meeting place for the British community in Naples. 

On the JFC Base the Agrippa Arms provides daily British cuisine and drinks and it also houses the Education Centre and a book and dvd library.  There is a well-equipped gym on the Base, plus running track and two tennis courts.  The HMS Agrippa Speed boat is available for all to book and it is moored at CCMAR Base. 

The British community hold an annual British Fete and the community participate in an International Bazaar which is held at JFC each autumn and provides a food court and stalls from every NATO nation.  The Remembrance Service and Battle of Britain Service are the biggest military events at Christ Church Naples, but the 12 Lessons and Carols, Mothers’ Day Service and the children’s Christmas play are big events during the year.
